South Australia’s defence industry – What’s on in 2018

Asia Defence Expo and Conference Series – January 2018

South Australia’s defence industry will seek to build connections and scope potential supply chain opportunities at Asia’s leading defence and military exhibition, the Asia Defence Expo and Conference Series (ADECS), in Singapore, from 30-31 January. Local universities will also develop stronger international education partnerships during the week-long mission to Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore.

16th Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference – April 2018 

Local businesses will have the chance to develop strategic partnerships in Asia’s defence market at the 16th Defence Services Asia (DSA) exhibition and conference in Kuala Lumpur, from 16-18 April. DSA, which brings together 1,300 companies from 60 countries, will showcase a range of international capabilities in sophisticated hardware and electronic warfare in land, air and sea defence.

Land Forces – September 2018

The nation’s largest land defence exhibition, Land Forces, will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from 4-6 September 2018. The international industry exhibition, which is expected to attract industry leaders from around the globe, will showcase the latest equipment, technology and services for the armies of Australia, Asia and the Indo-Pacific region.

Euronaval – October 2018

South Australia’s defence industry will have a significant presence at Euronaval – one of the world’s leading international trade shows for maritime security, safety and naval defence, from 22-26 October 2018. Held in Paris every two years, the trade fair welcomes more than 30,000 visitors, including high-level delegations from 70 countries, along with key industry, government and military leaders.

Over 350 exhibitors will present the latest technologies, innovations and emerging trends in naval and maritime sectors.
