  • Project Overview

    The nation’s premier naval industry hub is underpinned by extensive state-owned infrastructure.

    The Osborne site will support ASC to deliver the Royal Australian Navy’s next generation $8 billion Air Warfare Destroyers.
    Techport Australia will feature:

    • common-user shipbuilding facilities comprising a massive ship lift (Australia’s largest), transfer system and wharf 
    • a 35+ hectare supplier precinct for sub-contractors to establish operations on site and develop strong and efficient supply chains, and 
    • a Commercial and Education precinct including the Maritime Skills Centre and the  future home of the high-tech AWD Systems Centre.
