LEADING-EDGE RESEARCH AND TRAINING CAPABILITIES

Our education and training sector, government and industry work together to ensure the long term supply of skilled technicians, systems integrators and engineers.

South Australia's world-class universities deliver a broad range of defence systems engineering programs. For example, the University of South Australia offers a defence employer-reserved Master of Engineering (Military Systems Integration) program that was set up in cooperation with ASC, BAE Systems Australia and Saab Systems.

The University of South Australia has partnered with the University of Adelaide to establish the Defence Systems Innovation Centre. This new defence research and education centre will focus on the major challenge of systems integration for defence, delivering leading edge capability and real outcomes to the Australian defence community.
